About Us
Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Kane Volunteer Fire Department to protect life and property, and we also operate in a fiscally responsible manner.
Through research and prioritizing purchases, we own industry leading equipment that allows us to rapidly respond to emergencies, fires, natural disasters, life threatening situations, and to assist other emergency agencies.
We achieve this mission through training and educating the public in hopes of reducing disaster.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national, origin, color, sex, veteran status, or disability.

NOTICE:
It has come to the attention of the Kane Volunteer Fire Dept. that unsolicited phone calls are being made to area residents requesting money in the name of the “Volunteer Fireman’s Association”. We are not associated with this group and have never heard of them. This is a scam. We raise money by mailing fund letters, boot drives, and our various functions throughout the year. We do not use telemarketers. Please report these phone calls to the local police department and do not give them any information or money.
